On June 3, World Jewish Relief’s Director of Communications Rafi Cooper will be coming to speak to us about the charity’s work within Jewish communities of Eastern Europe as well as how they provide a Jewish response at times of international disaster. There will be a bagel lunch, followed by a broad talk and then questions relating to World Jewish Relief’s work.
World Jewish Relief is the UK Jewish community’s international humanitarian agency, supporting the world’s poorest Jewish communities and reaching beyond our own. Their mission is to create a world without Jewish poverty and to represent the UK Jewish community when international disaster strikes. For their website, click here.
