What Happens in Jerusalem Does Not Stay in Jerusalem
From politics to culture, what happens in Jerusalem has always deeply impacted the Jewish people and all of the world. Explore how and why so much depends on the continuing story of this holy city of conflict and peace, and why contemporary study of Jewish text and tradition in the heart of Jerusalem matters more than ever.
A leading writer, teacher, and thought leader in the Jewish world for nearly two decades, Dr. Stephen Arnoff serves as Executive Director of USCJ's Fuchsberg Jerusalem Center, home of the Conservative Yeshiva and a thriving hub of study and culture in the heart of Jerusalem. Stephen earned a doctorate in Midrash and Scriptural Interpretation from the Jewish Theological Seminary of America (JTS) as a Wexner Graduate Fellow and has been a Tikvah Scholar at the New York University School of Law, a Mandel Jerusalem Fellow at the Mandel Leadership Institute, and a Revson Fellow.
Join us for Kabbalat Shabbat and a (milky) potluck with Stephen and Rabbi Joel.
