Kulanu is an organisation supporting isolated, emerging and returning Jewish communities around the globe. This year, Kulanu is celebrating their 25th anniversary with Kulanu Across the Globe. Kol Nefesh is happy to participate.
We will learn something of the variety of communities Kulanu supports, from Madagascar to Nicaragua, from Zimbabwe to Brazil, from Papua New Guinea to Poland and Pakistan, and have the opportunity to see video footage of their activities and discuss the ideas behind encouraging emerging and returning Jewish communities. Some of our members have visited Kulanu communities in Africa and will be able to add their own experiences. A light meal will be served, representative of the food of one of the communities supported.
