SELICHOT 5779/2019

In the Ashkenazi tradition, special prayers of repentance, called selichot, are said during the days before Rosh Hashanah, and it is customary to have an inspiring selichot service at the end of the Shabbat preceding Rosh Hashanah.

Each year, Kol Nefesh joins with a group of smaller Masorti communities for this beautiful service, which is directed by our own Chazan Jacky and includes a choir made up of members of the participating shuls.

This year, Selichot will be hosted by Edgware Masorti Synagogue

When: Motza’ei Shabbat, 21st September 2019, 9.30 pm

Where: EMS (please rsvp for the address)

Please rsvp via Nicola Kosmin, admin@kolnefesh.org.uk, so EMS will have an idea of numbers.
