Join KN, Edware Masorti (EMS), and Hatch End Masorti (HEMS) on September 5th for a film featuring Rabbi Natalie Lastreger, who came to the Masorti Women’s Study Day in New London Synagogue a few months ago from Israel to talk about her experience leaving the Haredi world and becoming a Masorti Rabbi. "Tehora: Breaking the Codes of Silence" offers a peek into the Jewish ritual of purification. This documentary film broke taboos and examined how the laws of Taharat Hamishpaha (family purity) shape women’s lives and sexuality within Orthodox Judaism.
