The KN book group normally meets on the first Shabbat of every month in a member's home, but during the pandemic we are meeting on Zoom generally on Sundays afternoons, to discuss books and films. We alternate book and film discussions with play readings. For the latter, no preparation is necessary; just bring a copy of the play if you can.

We hope to see you! For venues, dates, and details about books to be discussed, contact admin@kolnefesh.org.uk or Howard Feldman on 07850 686205. If you have any books or plays you'd like to be included in future book club events, please bring your suggestions along to a meeting, or contact Howard on 07850 686205.

The next book is The Convert by Stefan Hertmans, on October 31st on Zoom

In June we discussed 'House of Glass', by Hadley Freeman. The author joined us on Zoom. Thanks to Danny Kalman for arranging this. We also discussed a short film, Eshet Chayil, made by Jason Collin, son of our members Ros and Paul. The subsequent books we'll be discussing, in future months are The Mandlebaum Gate by Muriel Spark and The Tunnel, by A.B.Yehoshua.

NB - If you plan to buy any book we discuss through Amazon, please remember to access the site via the link on the home page of the KN website. That way we'll earn a small commission on your purchase.
