Workshop 1

From Still Lifes to Wildlife

June 10, 10am–1pm

Enjoy a relaxed, fun couple of hours playing with top-of-the-range cameras and lenses under the direction of Marc Morris. You will take away some amazing images that can be printed or shared on social media. Marc will select your best image and have it professionally printed as a keepsake of the session. Topics to be covered: studio lighting, still lifes/portraits & wildlife in action. Marc will bring his computer so groups can be working on images as others are taking them. No need to bring your own equipment unless you wish to.

The workshop will take place in an Edgware venue.

Workshop 2

Intro to Street Photography – A Story in a Single Frame

June 24, 10am–12.30pm

In this workshop with Rena Pearl, you'll learn techniques to get the best out of your camera, and to capture the 'decisive moment' – a phrase coined by the father of street photography, Henri Cartier-Bresson. You'll also learn the legalities of where and what you can photograph on the streets.

The workshop will take place rain or shine (if required we'll meet in an indoor location like a railway station). Bring your own camera (mobile phone cameras are fine). Venue tbd.
