In light of the Covid-19 pandemic, Kol Nefesh will be running Yamim Nora'im with a difference this year. We regret that only a small number of members who have pre-booked will be able to attend Yom Kippur services.

Rabbi Joel has put together a series of texts and ideas for celebrating Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur at home. To learn how to 'Take the Yamim Nora'im Home',  click here.

Click here for a 'virtual' Rosh Hashanah service including sections of the liturgy, recordings of the leyening, and Rabbi Joel's dvar torah for Rosh Hashanah.

For a 'virtual' Yom Kippur service, click here.  This includes Rabbi Joel's drashah at the pre-Yom Kippur Zoom on Sunday as well as his drashah on Yom Kippur, and Chazan Jacky's Kol Nidrei.

Here is a copy of the Yizkor booklet for you to recite your own prayers for those departed.

Blow Your Own Shofar!!

Daily Shofar-Blowing and Thought for the Day

Each day throughout Ellul (August 21st–Sept 17th) the community has come together.  The centrepiece of this daily Zoom event was hearing the blasts of the shofar, together with a short piece of music from the Yamim Noraim, and some inspirational daily ‘Thought for the Day’.

All of the weekday Ellul zooms were recorded and can be heard again here.

If you missed the 'Blow your own Shofar' teaching session, you can watch the recording here:
